A Year of Daring Greatly with ERG

Dear ERG Fans,

It has been quite a year.  As we reflect on several aspects of our work at ERG, we have decided the blog space needs a little bit of an update.  In 2017, we want this space to be a little more interactive and informal than it has been.  We know you need resources and ideas and support- and we promise ERG is still going to provide those things for you.

We also know you don’t always have time to read the blogs or share them regardless of how great our content is.   It’s all good…we have seen the things you have on your plate, the pressure you are under, and the tireless hours you are working.  We just wanted to take a moment to say Thank You for being our fan and please stay tuned to this space in 2017.

A few themes we want to highlight in this space in the coming year:

  • ERG continues to believe the best way to take care of students is to take care of educators.
  • ERG also believes we have to take care of ourselves in order to take care of others.
  • With these beliefs in mind, we want to steal a page from Brené Brown’s work and use this space to create A Year of Daring Greatly with ERG.

If you are not familiar with the work of Brené Brown, then this is your first homework assignment.  Watch the video below and let us know what you think.  Yes-I know it’s a little long (20 minutes) but feel free to let me know if you hate it.

Thanks for all you do.  It matters.

~ A
