Sue Brookhart

Sue Brookhart is an author and Professor Emerita in the School of Education at Duquesne University. She is the author or coauthor of 18 books on classroom assessment, teacher professional development, and evaluation. Dr. Brookhart’s interests include the role of both formative and summative classroom assessment in student motivation and achievement, the connection between classroom assessment and large-scale assessment, and grading. Since 2018, she has collaborated with ERG to bring her work into classrooms across the country and world.
