Testimonials for Follow Me Forward

Having a GM - Follow Me Forward - Classroom at Morgan Elementary School has been incredibly beneficial for our students.

Ms. Reasoner, the teacher leading this space, continues to stay current with best practices and receives ongoing training in the Laney Sammons Guided Math model. What I love most is that her expertise doesn't just impact the students in her classroom—it reaches exponentially more.

When other teachers observe her in action and return to their own classrooms to implement what they've learned, that's when the real ripple effect happens. They get to see Ms. Reasoner navigate real-time challenges and witness how she differentiates instruction, meeting the needs of students who are struggling, on grade level, or ready for enrichment.

They then spend time debriefing with her about their observations, and she navigates what she has learned and why she made certain decisions that they observed during her lesson.

We are fully committed to doing whatever it takes to support student learning, and this Follow Me Forward classroom.

It is clearly making a powerful difference for all learners. We are proud and grateful to be part of it.

This type of teacher-to-teacher professional learning is the best!

This year, ERG has made it possible for me to host other teachers as a Guided Math Follow Me Forward Host Teacher. It has been a privilege to work directly with my colleagues and inspire them to try new methods when delivering lessons to students within their own classrooms. This type of teacher-to-teacher professional learning is the best, in my opinion. It is teaching and learning in real time. Then, time is set aside for questions and conversations. It was a positive experience for all who participated. I am honored to have been a part.

With gratitude,
Jennifer Reasoner

A Positive Change

ERG is helping our school change from who we used to be to who we want to be.

The results are undeniable!

If you want to provide teachers with consistent feedback, on-going high quality professional development that will grow teachers and students, you need to reach out to the team at erg.

As a principal at a low-performing school, we are always charged with improving test scores, but often the same urgency to grow teachers can be lacking. In working with ERG, I have watched our ERG coach energize and motivate teachers because they see the growth in their students.

That growth in teacher efficacy and student achievement is a gift that you can't begin to quantify. ERG is quality professional development for instructional leaders! The weekly debrief provides insight into the learning gaps and needs of the teacher, as well as action steps I should actively seek to observe after the coaching visit. In one year of working with ERG, we grew one grade level/subject area from red to green! The results are undeniable!

Set up a meeting with ERG immediately if you want to grow students, teachers, and building-based leaders.
